Know when to say when
There are so many of us in debt in this country and for those of us who are it is most likely on account of credit card debts. Oh, how we love to charge on those cards, whether or not we can afford it. Pay now and worry about it later. But, now you know that the "later" always comes and it is never pretty. So, if you are struggling under the heavy weight of debt, then do yourself a favor and do not respond to the next credit card offer that comes your way.
We nee to live within our means if we are going to live a life that is free from debt. When we charge so much on a credit card or more than one, then we are actually spending a lot more money than we borrowed to begin with. The interest rates are so high that many of us can spend years paying it off before we even touch the principal of what we borrowed in the first place! At some point we have to change our ways and simply ignore another credit card offer when it shows up in the mailbox.
Make a change
If we are to get out of our debt and stay out of it, then we need to start being more responsible with our spending. We need to learn to live within our means and not to be tempted by everything that we see. The more that we spend, the deeper we get our selves into debt and that means that when we really do need that credit card, we may not be able to use it, which can cause even more problems. Sure a great credit card offer will show up every once in a while, but we really need to think about whether or not we actually need it or if it will get us into even more debt.
